Our approach:

1) We need to bring back the Australian dream of home ownership.

2) We need to deliver this through lower taxes, better quality spending, less red and green tape - all geared towards building more homes for Australians.

3) We believe that individuals and markets will always triumph over slow government. Australia is a home-owning democracy.

4) We need to build our way out of Australia’s national supply crisis.

The Coalition will:

1) Get stalled housing projects moving again by investing in enabling infrastructure

2) Cut red tape by paring back the National Construction Code (NCC), to reduce the costs of building a new home, and

3) Link migration numbers to Australia's housing supply.
