New South Wales Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg met with leaders of the Chinese Australian community today to hear their concerns and better understand the issues that matter to them.
“As a strong supporter of multicultural communities in New South Wales I am very keen to hear concerns specific to those communities,” Senator Bragg said.
“I intend to meet with the Chinese Australian community and its leaders on a regular basis throughout my time in Parliament.”
Senator Bragg said it was important the Chinese Australian community, like other multicultural communities, has a strong voice which is heard in Canberra.
“I have always been engaged with people from the community level up.”
“Chinese Australians have made a huge contribution to Australia which deserves recognition.”
