Andrew Bragg:
Why on earth the Queensland border will be closed to people from the Australian Capital Territory is beyond me I mean I they haven't had cases in the Capital Territory for weeks and weeks and so I think the same applies to all the small States. As the Trade Minister Simon Birmingham has said, I mean this is having a huge impact on the tourism sector. In my state of New South Wales, 15% of the tourism sector has now shed its workforce and so there is a real economic and humanitarian cost of these small states closing their borders for no reason.
